About: Vidya went to high school in India and in 9th grade entered the national competition called Young Astronomers Talent Search. She made it through the district and state levels! While she unfortunately didn’t win at the national level, shet did not give up and learned she loved Astronomy. Vidya joined Cal-Bridge because her best friend Becky Flores was in it and loved it. She is now a PhD student at UC Irvine!
