Description: The Summer Institute is a four-year sequence of week-long professional development activities held each summer for Cal-Bridge Doctoral scholars focusing on two main topics: pedagogy and research leadership. The goal for these activities is to help prepare participants to be a successful faculty candidate, if that is their interest, or simply to improve communication and research skills. Throughout the week, multiple social events are held to connect with other scholars and Cal-Bridge faculty.
