Dating for climate

Description: The Cal-Bridge scholar would explore how “radiocarbon dating” is used to understand the drivers of climate change. They would learn how to measure radiocarbon with accelerator mass spectrometry and how radiocarbon is used to identify and quantify greenhouse gas and aerosol emissions from different natural and anthropogenic sources.
Preferred Qualifications: any chemistry or physics background is helpful; any fine motor skills
