Curriculum design in physics education research

Description: Our summer scholar will work with our group to develop a curriculum to teach undergraduates beginning content and skills in physics education research. The scholar will develop skills in reading education literature, learning and implementing principles of backwards design for creating curriculum materials, and designing and developing assessments of educational outcomes. This may focus on either qualitative (text analysis) or programming, dependent on the student’s interest.
Preferred Qualifications: Interest in improving undergraduate education!
