Biomolecular assembly and structure
Professor: Omar Saleh
Description: My lab works on biomolecular physics and self-assembly. We use quantitative methods of fluorescence and single-molecule manipulation to reveal the workings of biomolecules and biomolecular complexes. We are happy to host an intern, either on a project focused on single-molecule elasticity of biopolymers, or on a biomaterials project focused on creating artificial biomolecular condensates that mimic biological structures.
Preferred Qualifications: We are happy to tailor our research experience to the specific abilities of each undergrad.
