About: Katy Rodriguez Wimberly, PhD is a faculty member at CSUSB and an alumni of the Cal-Bridge program (she was in our first cohort of scholars)! Alongside her astrophysics research, Katy is passionate about outreach and mentoring. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Astronomical Society of the Pacifics and manages the Peer Mentorship program for Cal-Bridge. Aside from all things astro, she enjoys family time with her husband and daughters. She loves hiking, laughing and snuggles!
