Deciphering the Mechanisms of Protein Folding and Function

,

Professor: Victor Munoz

Description: We study the mechanisms by which proteins fold into their functional structures, control their homeostasis and regulate their biological activity through conformational changes. Our approach is biophysical, combining experiments, theory and computer simulations. Students could work on a variety of specific projects around that general topic and supervised by either a grad student or a postdoc in the lab.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in wetlab, phyton programming, matlab, imaging
