Design and Implementation of Cloud-scale Distributed Applications

Description: This project will design and implement distributed computing applications on a state-of-the-art cloud testbed. Students who work on this project will learn about fundamental concepts regarding the correctness of large-scale distributed applications. Students will also learn how to analyze cloud-scale computing platforms to better understand distributed application performance, and how to optimize application performance given the capabilities and limitations of the available hardware.

Preferred Qualifications: Programming Experience (C/C++ or Python)
