Programmable optics for better display, sensing, and imaging

Description: We aim to design a programmable optical system that shapes and manipulates light in 3D for enhanced 3D display, sensing, and imaging. The student will be involved in programming in Python, building optical setups, and testing the results in both optical hardware and software. Preferred Qualifications: Preferred but not required (you may learn or figure out during the process): 1) Python programming; 2) an interest in experiment; 3) enjoy troubleshooting
