Description: Observational research on diverse problems related to determining the masses of black holes in galaxy nuclei, understanding the physics of gaseous accretion onto black holes, and examining the relationships between the black holes and the host galaxies that they inhabit.
Preferred Qualifications: Some familiarity with Python, and knowledge of astronomy at least at the level of an introductory college-level course.
